Santiago Alongi, an intern at EXCEN, recently discussed his master’s thesis in Electrical Engineering, facing a topic of great relevance today: “Failure Rate and Failure Mode of Lithium Batteries”.

But that's not all!
Santiago had the opportunity to present his work directly at EXCEN, illustrating his analysis and research results. A valuable moment that enriched our team, stimulating new considerations and perspectives for the future.

At EXCEN, we believe that innovation comes from research and knowledge sharing. We actively participate in international technical committees to contribute to the evolution of safety standards; therefore we are investigating the critical factors in order to ensure safety and reliability of lithium batteries in ATEX applications.
This is yet another example of EXCEN's willingness to invest in R&D, increasingly involving new talent and academics.

Special thanks to company tutor Kim Fumagalli and academic supervisor Roberto Faranda for their valuable support.
Congratulations to Santiago Alongi for this important milestone and best wishes for a brilliant career!
